Your Right to Cancel


Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. This 14-day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back in unopened packaging. 

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to us by hand or post to World Telecom, Tijnmuiden 93, 1046 AK Amsterdam, The Netherlands, or by using the Enquiry Form on http://worldtelecom.nl/contacts/

Returning Faulty Goods

If your goods are faulty and don’t do what they're supposed to, or don’t match the description given, you have the same consumer rights as you have when buying in store. Any terms and conditions that say you must cover the cost of returning an item wouldn’t apply where the goods being returned are diagnosed by us as faulty. A product is deemed to be faulty only after we have received and tested the returned item. We will refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service i.e. guaranteed next day, we will refund the basic cost. 

If you exercise your right of cancellation after the SIM cards have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning them to the World Telecom office at your own cost. You must take reasonable care to ensure they are not lost or damaged in the meantime or in transit. 

When returning to us, please use address World Telecom, Tijnmuiden 93, 1046 AK Amsterdam, The Netherlands. You are responsible for the goods arriving safely and intact within 14 days, and we suggest sending them via recorded delivery. Please ensure the goods are packaged properly, correctly addressed and the correct postage paid to ensure safe delivery. 

Where you are returning a product within 14 days on the basis of it malfunctioning or having a defect, World Telecom reserves the right to reject returns if any content is missing, the product is damaged, marked or is considered to be in poor condition. World Telecom accepts no responsibility for customer details, contacts or content remaining on the product. We reserve the right to arrange for the repair of your handset or any accessories that are defective and validly sent to us, and to return them back to good working order. Alternatively, we may replace them with a new or reconditioned handset or accessories of the same manufacturer and model, or where the model has been discontinued or we are unable to source it, replace it with a handset model of the same value. 

Refunds

To initiate a refund, you must give written notice to us by hand or post to World Telecom, Tijnmuiden 93, 1046 AK Amsterdam, The Netherlands, or by filling the Enquiry Form http://worldtelecom.nl/contacts/


Where applicable, refunds for any products are credited to the debit or credit card originally used for the original purchase after receipt of the returned equipment and satisfactory inspection by us. Please allow up to 30 days for the processing of any such refund.
